About the Product

Full Description

Luli-Mas Lotion is a topical antifungal medication containing Luliconazole (1% w/v), primarily used to treat various fungal skin infections.

Benefits & Uses of Luli-Mas Lotion

Luli-Mas Lotion effectively treats infections caused by fungi such as dermatophytes and yeasts.

  • Conditions Treated: It is used for athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworm (tinea corporis).
  • Symptom Relief: It helps alleviate associated discomfort, including itching, redness, inflammation, and scaling.
  • Mechanism: Luliconazole works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, which disrupts the fungal cell membrane and eventually kills the fungus.

How to Use Luli-Mas Lotion

  • Clean and Dry: Wash and thoroughly dry the affected area before application.
  • Application: Apply a thin layer to the infected skin and approximately one inch of the surrounding healthy skin.
  • Frequency: Usually applied once daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
  • Duration: Treatment typically lasts 1 weekfor jock itch or ringworm and 2 weeks for athlete's foot.
  • Hygiene: Wash your hands immediately before and after applying the lotion to prevent spreading the infection.

Key Ingredients of Luli-Mas Lotion

  • Active Ingredient: Luliconazole (1% w/v).
  • Inactive Ingredients: Typically includes base materials suitable for a topical lotion formulation.

Side Effects of Luli-Mas Lotion

While generally well-tolerated, some users may experience mild, temporary reactions at the application site:

  • Common: Burning sensation, irritation, itching, redness, or skin dryness.
  • Rare/Serious: Severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling of face/lips, difficulty breathing), increased inflammation, or blistering.

Precautions of Luli-Mas Lotion

  • External Use Only: Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, or vaginal area. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Special Populations: Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as safety data is limited. It is generally not recommended for children under 12 without medical advice.
  • Course Completion: Finish the entire prescribed course even if symptoms improve to prevent the infection from returning.
